The LSM6DS3 feature various sensing elements and are manufactured using specialized micromachining processes and developed using CMOS technology. This allows the trimmed dedicated circuit design to better match sensing element characteristics.

The LSM6DS3 has a full-scale acceleration range of ±2/±4/±8/±16g and an angular rate range of ±125/±245/±500/±1000/±2000dps. The module has high robustness to mechanical shock for the creation and manufacturing of reliable products.
The LSM6DS3 is available in a plastic land grid array (LGA) package.
