JOB DESCRIPTION:CPO Sales Specialist
· Penang office · Reporting to Sales Director, Microlease Sdn Bhd
· The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a proactive go-getter with a high degree of common sense and intellect. A diploma in electronics with at least 2/3 years previous experience of selling within an electronics environment is essential. · The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator at all levels with a willingness to go the extra mile and work beyond normal working hours in order to meet the needs of Microlease customers. · This will effectively be a business within a business and as such the candidate will need to have an entrepreneurial flair, a deal making / trader mentality and the ability to connect with end customers, equipment brokers and internal sales people.
Sales of Certified-Pre-Owned (CPO) products are central to our business and, following much success in the US and Europe, we now need a dedicated person to drive this function in East and South East Asia (ESEA). The primary job functions are: · Sell the full range of CPO products across ESEA · Liaise with Product Management to optimise inventory levels · Liaise with / drive marketing to maximise sales opportunities · Meeting revenue objectives for this and upcoming financial years
· Manage incoming enquiries and provide quotations · Create new business opportunities by working closely with partners · Liaise with other Microlease sales and inventory departments · Report sales activities and results on a regular basis · Manage the full spectrum of the sales cycle · Commitment to meet or exceed sales targets · Visit existing and potential customers in order to build long-term relationships · Proactively seek new business opportunities in the form of web leads, marketing requests or focused targeted activity · Provide excellent customer service in a quality driven culture (identify and resolve customer issues) · Manage customer profiles and database entry into Microlease systems · Take responsibility for understanding what we need to do to win the business working with the Territory Team to achieve monthly and quarterly targets, building and reviewing Territory Plan · Support Marketing and Product Management in assessing market, product and competitive information
Essential: · Bachelor’s Degree in electronics or similar diploma with at least 2/3 years experience in technical and / or financial sales · Solid background and knowledge of products, markets and suppliers · Strong business acumen and financial knowledge · Ability to work independently under self-imposed schedules · Keen to meet and exceed targets · Ability to quickly understand and operate complex inventory management systems and SFDC customer relationship system · Proven track record in establishing sales records and customer service · Computer literate: familiar with MS Office, email protocol · Good command of English & Mandarin (verbal, written useful)) · Excellent communication skills: face to face, telephone, written · Ability to multi-task and work in a high pressure environment · High level of professionalism & personal integrity · Must be a team player, willing to get involved across the organisation · Key attributes: dependable, positive, flexible, proactive
Desirable: · Knowledge and experience of start-up environments · Previous experience of a fast moving, rapidly expanding company · Ability to travel within Malaysia and overseas
