Department:  Graphics Platform Engineering (GPE)

Platform engineering team has immediate opening for Staff firmware development engineer for Image Signalling Process (ISP), Key responsibilities of the position is listed below

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
?        DefineISP test strategy together with IP design and Software team
?        Define ISP bring-up test plan
?        Define and execute ISP post-silicon power characterization plan
?        Drive weekly ISP bring-up meeting
?        Lead diagnostics development for ISP validation on both feature level and use case level
?        Lead ISP feature bring-up and validation on both pre-silicon environment (FPGA) and post-silicon system (real ASIC and platform)
?        Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
?        Responsible for execution of programs, multiple projects on the go
?        Forward thinker to improve development process and drive innovation

REQUIREMENTS
?        B.Sc. or M.Sc. In EE or CS or equivalent is required
?        Good English required – verbal and written
?        Mandarin

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
?        A minimum of 6+ years experience on driver or embedded SW development and closely interact with HW designers
?        Strong mix of large-scale software development ability and hardware understanding
?        Proficient in C/C++ programming
?        Familiar with Linux, knowledge and experience of device driver or firmware development is required
?        Hands-on experience with Image Processing is highly preferred.
?        Strong debugging and testing skills
?        Strong communication skills
