1.1 The detachable battery shall be mechanically acceptable after drop impact testing as defined by the mechanical acceptance criteria: 1.2 No cracks in plastic housing. 1.3 Deformation of the plastic is allowed so long as the pack continues to function both electrically and mechanically. 1.4 Any deformation must not interfere with installation into or removal from the Trilogy unit. 1.5 Latches and releases must continue to operate. 1.6 Connectors must continue to mate without interference. 1.7 Visible weld joints must remain intact. A weld joint may begin to separate after all drops have been completed but must only be visible if the weld line is physically pried apart. 1.8 Cells cannot have indentations deeper than 0.005". Damage to the plastic cover of the cell is permitted. 1.9 The detachable battery shall be electrically acceptable after drop impact testing as defined by the electrical acceptance criteria: 1.10 LED's must light to the same level as before the drop. 1.11 Pack must pass a ~1A load test for 10 seconds. 1.12 Programmed Battery parameters shall not change. 1.13 Battery pack shall operate without errors during 3 charge-discharge cycles
