Job Description:

 

The Printer Business Unit is seeking experienced firmware engineers who will thrive in an exciting, fast-paced, deadline driven environment where we design leading edge firmware, software and hardware for the printer industry. Successful candidates must have strong programming and debugging skills and experience in embedded systems design, microprocessor architectures, hardware interfaces and I/O. Experience in design for InkJet Printing is a plus. Responsibilities may include all phases of development including planning, design, implementation, test, qualification, and release. As a successful candidate you will be working as part of a global team delivering high performance solutions.

 

 

Qualification:

MASTER EE, CE, CS or equivalent

3-5 years engineering experience 

2+ years experience with C/C++

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

3+ years experience in developing printer firmware in areas such as: paper handling, engine communication, networking and more. 

Demonstrated ability to provide innovative solutions to difficult engineering problems. 

Able to use skills as a seasoned, experience professional with a full understanding of industry practices. 

Able to follow company policies and procedures.

Able to resolve a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways.

Able to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. 

Must have good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. 

Able to interact successfully with senior internal and external personnel. 

Strong mentoring skills.
