Job Title Hardware PE  (Shanghai)
Roles and Responsibilities
1. This position will be to work as a member of the ThinkPad Product Engineering team   
2. Be responsible to handle problems on ThinkPad computers that are reported from the field or manufacturing
3. Analyze and design a solution to fix any problem encountered
4. Regularly work with development teams in Japan, and product vendors in China to resolve any open issue。
5. This engineer will be a member of the hardware staff, responsible for debugging system or component failures
6. Help develop solutions to handle issues
7. This position will require good English skill, the department manager is American, and the engineer is required to regularly work with
engineering teams in Japan
8. This position requires some travel for regular training courses, and to support on-site investigations

Requirements
1. Basic knowledge of PC architecture
2. Advanced Electrical Engineer (EE)
3. Knowledge (Degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering)
4. Electronic test equipment (Oscilloscope, logic analyzer, electronic load, function generator, etc)
5. Good English communication skills
6. Past experience working in electrical design projects
7. Knowledge of mechanical engineering and effects on design
8. Knowledge of ESD / EMI and onside rations for design
9. Familiar with operating systems and OS debug tools
10. Familiar with computer BIOS, assembly, or machine code
11. Familiar with scripting languages (DOSBatch, VBScript, JavaScript, etc)
