Job Title        Vxworks SW Engineer/ Senior Vxworks SW Engineer

Job Purpose

To participate in the production of high quality software applications that satisfy the customer requirements, are safe and reliable.



Key Responsibilities

?        Specify, Design, code, integrate and test software applications using the company standard methodology
?        Development of framework SW on Windriver Vxworks and MPC83xx.
?        Modify and maintenance of MPC83xx BSP for Vxworks.
?        Coordinate with application SW team to support application SW development.
?        Ensure adherence to schedule and budget.
?        Raise problem reports, giving findings on problems.
?        Use of CASE (Computer Aided Software Engineering) tools.
?        Keep abreast of relevant technology developments.

Qualifications

?        B.Sc. Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Railway Signaling Automation or equivalent.
?        + 5 years relevant working experience.  
?        Good embedded SW design experience of industry control system by using Windriver Vxworks.
?        Experience of code debugging by using JTAG emulator.
?        Good experience of communication program by using CAN bus and Ethernet UDP.
?        Experience of modification and maintenance of MPC83xx(or MPC860/8260/8360) BSP for Vxworks;
?        Familiarity with the discipline of Software Engineering, understanding of a Software development Life-cycle.
?        Good spoken and written English
?        Knowledge of signaling system. (preferred)
?        Knowledge of building FAT file system. (preferred)
?        Knowledge of development environment (simulators, DOORS, ClearQuest, ClearCase, Rational ROSE and RoseRT, etc.). (preferred)
